Terms of service
The agreement between you and Algorika when you use the website or the Platform.
1. What Algorika is
Algorika is software. It connects to broker accounts you own, routes orders you or your subscribed strategies create, and reports positions and analytics. Algorika is not a stock broker, investment adviser, portfolio manager or research analyst, and nothing on the Platform is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 or older and hold a trading account with a supported broker. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and TOTP secrets safe and for every order placed from your account, including orders placed by strategies you subscribe to and by operators you authorise to act on your behalf.
3. Brokers
Your relationship with each broker is governed by that broker’s terms. Brokers may reject, delay or modify orders, impose rate limits or require static IP registration. Algorika surfaces these constraints but cannot override them.
4. Strategies, paper trading and caps
Strategies on the marketplace are software packages. Paper books execute on live prices in a virtual account and do not involve real money. Live books send real orders to your broker. Max capital and max loss caps are software controls applied before an order is built; they cannot guarantee a loss limit in fast or gapping markets.
5. Risk disclosure
Trading in equities, futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Derivatives can lose more than the initial margin. Automated strategies can fail, connectivity can drop, and market data can be delayed or wrong. Past performance of any strategy, in backtest, paper or live, does not indicate future results. You alone decide whether to trade and how much capital to risk.
6. Acceptable use
- No use that breaches SEBI regulations, exchange bye-laws or your broker’s API terms.
- No attempts to defeat trading gates, kill-switches or rate limits.
- No reverse engineering, scraping or resale of the Platform without a written agreement.
7. Firms and organisations
Sub-brokers and organisation managers are responsible for the traders they onboard, the strategies they enable, and every act-on-behalf action taken by their operators. Usage charges reflect infrastructure consumed by the organisation’s traders and nodes and are invoiced as agreed in your order form.
8. Availability
We aim for continuous availability during market hours and publish trading gates so you can see when placement is disabled. The Platform is provided “as is” and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Algorika is not liable for trading losses, lost profits or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, broker outages, data errors or strategy behaviour. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
